Former YG Entertainment trainee Guno opened up about his thoughts on K-pop's trainee system.
On February 14, Guno sat down for an interview with Taiwan's 'ET Today' and opened up about his experiences in both the J-pop and K-pop trainee process. Guno, also known as Wang Jyun Hao, previously featured as a contestant on Mnet's 'Produce x 101' and is currently a member of the J-pop group BUGVEL.
He expressed, "There's a difference in the way Korea and Japan train their idols. Korea is too strict. A lot of times, it's inhumane. One time, I wanted to buy a coke at a convenience store, so I snuck out by pretending to pick up trash with another trainee. However, we were caught the next day and punished."
Guno, who is Taiwanese, also talked about his fans, saying, "I'm not satisfied. The minute I'm satisfied, I should stop being an artist. I promote in Japan, so it's difficult to connect with my Taiwanese fans. Thank you for your support."
This isn't Guno's first time expressing criticism about the trainee process, and he previously opened up about the alleged mistreatment he received during 'Produce x 101'.
What are your thoughts on Guno's statements?

The boy literally stated the obvious reality that everyone knows about it!
You didn't mention him before in positive articles, but the moment he answers one question like this you write about it and ofc the title is "Former YG Trainee" , not "J-pop group memeber" ! ㅡ.ㅡ
we all know if it was other ent. Company you would write "xx trainee shares his hardships during training years" not "criticizes kpop's 'inhumane' system" ㅡ.ㅡ
