Actress Lee Da Hae and singer SE7EN shared a heartfelt glimpse into their marriage on Channel A’s ‘Groom Class’, revealing their struggles with balancing busy careers and plans for starting a family on November 21.
During a trip to the Macau International Film Festival, Lee impressed fans by speaking fluent Mandarin as she introduced SE7EN and promoted his performance. Later, the couple enjoyed a date, where Lee praised SE7EN for his thoughtful gestures. “Even when we were dating, he’d serve me food. At first, I thought he was trying to impress me, but I realized it’s just his nature,” she shared.
When discussing their future, SE7EN jokingly asked, “Should we have five kids to make a big family?” Lee laughed and responded, “If it happens, we’ll do our best. But even if it doesn’t, we’re happy as we are.”
The couple admitted that their demanding schedules make family plans difficult. Lee revealed, “We’re just so busy. I need to finish my work first.” SE7EN added, “People don’t realize how hard you work—studying Mandarin five days a week, working late nights, and traveling constantly.”
In an emotional moment, Lee admitted to feeling lonely while working overseas. “Sometimes, I feel like crying. Being the only Korean there can be hard, even though everyone treats me well. I just want to speak Korean sometimes,” she said through tears. She thanked SE7EN for his unwavering support, to which he replied, “You’re amazing. You’re handling everything so well.”
The couple’s candid confessions touched viewers, showing that even celebrities face challenges. Their love and support for each other remain their greatest strength, proving that partnership can overcome even the toughest times.
