A2Z Entertainment, the production company behind the "Show Me The Money" series and "Street Woman Fighter 2," is set to launch a boy group audition program centered around the hip-hop genre on Channel ENA.
The new boy group audition program, "Hip-Pop School," aims to create a boy group with talent, appearance, popularity, and global potential, all based on the hip-hop genre. It is scheduled to air on ENA in the first half of this year.
Notably, A2Z Entertainment, the producer of "Show Me The Money" series and programs like "Street Woman Fighter 2," "High School Rapper 2," MBC's "My Teenage Girl" and ENA's "Hit Song in my Ear," has been successful in producing top-notch audition and survival programs, establishing itself as a leading figure in the music program industry.
A2Z Entertainment stated, "Through 'Hip-Pop School,' we plan to present a complete boy group by combining the intense hip-hop genre with the K-pop system, which has become the standard of global popular culture," and added, "We ask for a lot of participation, expectation, and support for the process of creating the team that will become the standard for the next generation idols."
For "Hip-Pop School," top-tier K-pop artists in various fields such as composition, vocals, choreography, and producing will participate as directors to ensure the formation of a boy group that meets global standards. Participants will be selected for the final debut group through evaluations by the directors, training by experts, and public voting.
Recruitment of participants for "Hip-Pop School" will begin in early March through a recommendation system. Detailed information and application details can be found on the "Hip-Pop School" website and the social entertainment platform app, Baund.
