On January 25, SM Entertainment announced that Taeyong will return to solo activities with a brand new mini-album and also a solo concert.
According to the agency, Taeyong will be releasing his 2nd mini album on February 26 and will be holding his solo concert from February 24-25 at Olympic Hall in Seoul.
The details of Taeyong's first solo concert were revealed on this day. According to the information, VIP tickets (standing) are on sale for 198,000 KRW (~148.08 USD), and regular tickets (standing and seated seats) for 154,000 KRW (~115.19 USD).
This announcement sparked a discussion in a popular online community where netizens left comments wondering whether Taeyong would be able to fill the hall. They commented, "Don't you need to be at Taeyeon, Taemin, or Baekhyun level to do solo concerts in SM Entertainment?," "Will Taeyong be able to fill all the seats? I'm not asking with malicious intention but I'm really curious," "Can he sell out that venue?," "The hall is probably small so who would pay 198,000 for the VIP seats when there won't be much difference with the 154,000 KRW seat," "I'm guess this is his last promotion before he enlists in the mandatory military service," and "No offense but does he have enough solo songs to do a solo concert?"
Come on, it's Olympic Hall (2400 seats) not a stadium :)))
