Baekhyun, a member of the group EXO, has established his own company named 'I&B100'. According to documents related to corporate registration obtained by Ten Asia on the 3rd, it's confirmed that the company founded by Baekhyun is named 'I&B100'. 

He has completed all the necessary procedures to be the CEO and registered as an internal director. The company was established on June 23rd last year, indicating that he had completed the establishment of his company before the renewal issue with SM Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as SM) arose in August last year. Baekhyun, who signed a renewal contract with SM last year, will be conducting 'separate yet together' activities through both SM and his personal company during the contract period. Fellow members Chen and Xiumin, who share Baekhyun's vision, are also expected to be part of this company.

Previously, on August 8th last year, Baekhyun revealed in a live broadcast on Instagram that he planned to run his own company and that SM had positively agreed to this. At the time, he emphasized that he would not leave SM or EXO, stating, "I will be operating a company while staying with SM, and continue to be active with EXO members." Furthermore, Baekhyun refuted claims related to borrowing 13 billion won (over 9 million US dollars) to start a public company, saying that it was impossible and a false claim. He clarified that the borrowed amount was a promise to himself for setting up his own company, adding that it was a commitment to live always bearing the burden and not to neglect the management of his company.

Baekhyun is also registered as an internal director in a company named Primitive Signature. Regarding this, he mentioned, "Primitive Signature is a company started with my friend Casper, with the intention of nurturing good choreographers and dancers. However, my personal company will be under a different name, not Primitive Signature."

Baekhyun's 'own company', which he has been emphasizing, is 'I&B100'. It is known that he has unique visions and plans for operating this company. The business scope of this corporate entity includes a variety of activities typically undertaken by entertainment companies, from production to management and investment consulting. This means that Baekhyun can proceed with any ideas as a producer through his company. The industry expects a concrete outline of the business to emerge this year.

In relation to this, SM Entertainment has confirmed that the exclusive contracts with Baekhyun, Chen, and Xiumin are still valid. They clarified that these artists' individual activities through Baekhyun's 'I&B100' are part of a collaborative workshop concept. SM stated, "The new exclusive contracts with the three members are still in effect. While specific settlement conditions cannot be disclosed, it has been agreed upon that individual activities of the three members, under the group 'CBX', will be facilitated.
