BLACKPINK continues to make waves in the K-pop industry this year. Even without releasing a new group album in 2023 and only a non-promotional track for their video game "The Game", they've still broken numerous records and topped charts on various music platforms.
Their 2022 hit "PINK VENOM" has set another record on YouTube, becoming the most-viewed music video by a K-pop group in 2023. It surpassed "Queencard" by (G)I-DLE to achieve this feat. This marks the second year in a row that "PINK VENOM" has held this title. Last year, it was the only group music video to near 500 million views, and it remains the only K-pop group video to amass over 230 million views in 2023. The only K-pop music video with more views than "PINK VENOM" this year is Jungkook's "Seven" featuring Latto (uploaded on July 14, 2023).
Currently "Pink Venom" has 779M views, so its path to a billion views and establishing a new milestone is very close.
