IU's ninth solo concert 'The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun' is anticipated to hit theaters soon.
It's been revealed that the Korea Media Rating Board received an application from CJ CGV for the screening of 'Golden Hour' in local theaters.
Earlier, on July 11, the 'Golden Hour' Blu-ray/DVD underwent deliberation for release, with the Korea Media Rating Board assigning a rating based on the overall viewing experience.
Previously, in 2022, IU made history by hosting her solo concert 'The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun' over a two-day span at the Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium, marking a groundbreaking achievement as a female artist in Korea.
The main stadium boasts a seating capacity of 69,950, accommodating up to 100,000 attendees, including the standing room. Impressively, IU's concert garnered the presence of around 130,000 spectators last year.
Meanwhile, IU is presently filming the drama 'You Did Good', co-starring alongside Park Bo Gum.
I love IU, as a singer and as an actress.
I wish one day I could attend one of her concerts. More power to her.
