BTOB member Changsub, also currently the president of the applied music school 'CHANG-GGO', has released a statement of apology for recent issues with over a logo design content.
Earlier this month, 'CHANG-GGO' launched a new logo design competition for the music school. The competition advertised that the winner would receive a 500,000 KRW (~ $377 USD) shopping mall gift card.
However, soon after the application period closed, 'CHANG-GGO' announced that there was no winner for the logo design contest, as the designs submitted did not "match the creative direction of 'CHANG-GGO'." This reason upset many netizens, including those who submitted their design for the contest.
As a result, on August 31 KST, Changsub stated as president of 'CHANG-GGO',
"Hello, this is Lee Changsub, president of CHANG-GGO.
As the logo design contest gave rise to a shameful situation, I would like to deliver my sincerest apologies to everyone who participated.
I truly apologize for launching a contest without proper knowledge, as it is my first time running a business.
The contest should have clearly indicated that a winner may not be chosen, but it left out crucial details, and for that, I apologize deeply.
From now on, I will become a better president who is able to make decisions after careful consideration, so that such a mistake does not happen again.
Once again, I delivery my apologies to all participants."
Usually when there is a contest then you have a winner. I love Changsub dearly, but he needs to prepare better.
