On April 27 KST, SM Entertainment notified fans of NCT Dream member Chenle's absence from the group's upcoming concert stops in Manila and Singapore.
The agency stated,
"Hello.
NCT's Chenle is experiencing poor health conditions as a result of cold symptoms and aches, and so it is inevitable that he be absent from the NCT Dream tour 'The Dream Show 2 : In A Dream' stops in Manila from April 29-30, and in Singapore on May 1.
As the decision was reached for Chenle's speedy recovery, we ask fans for their generous understanding, and Chenle will resume his participation in the shows scheduled in Macau from May 13-14 after plenty of rest.
We will do our best to consider the health and safety of our artists as our top priority and to allow our artist to focus on his recovery.
Thank you."
Meanwhile, NCT Dream recently announced encore stops in Seoul from June 2-3, titled 'The Dream Show 2 : In Your Dream', as a part of the group's ongoing world tour.
Colds are very common and harmless, but they are also very miserable when you are trying to give your all at your job or hobbies. Imagine performing a concert with intense fatigue, sneezing fits, congestion, or a runny nose! SM made the right choice. Rest well, Chenle!!
