Global hit ‘Left And Right,’ which was the first solo collaboration of Charlie Puth featuring Jungkook, continues to win more awards and records in 2023 despite being released in June 2022.
At the 37th Japan Gold Disc Awards, ‘Left And Right’ won the ‘Best Song Of The Year’ by Streaming (Western), showing off how much love and popularity it received, even in Japan.
Charlie Puth didn't forget to mention and credit Jungkook for the song's success once again in his award acceptance speech.
“Thank you so much to everyone in Japan who streamed and loved ‘Left and Right’. Working with JungKook was an amazing experience and the song wouldn’t be what it is without him.”
Recording Industry Association Of Japan (RIAJ) and Warner Music Japan also posted and congratulated 'Left And Right' for the win.
‘Left And Right’ was also nominated for Video Music Awards (VMAs), People Choice Awards (PCAs), iHeart Radio Music Awards, and more. It won the “The Collaboration Song of 2022” in People Choice Awards and “International Collaboration” in BreakTudo Awards 2022 along with many other awards.
