Former NU'EST member Kim Jong Hyeon is stepping up his acting career with a new web drama.

On February 28 KST, it was announced that Kim Jong Hyeon will star in the web drama 'Sound Candy'. Currently, filming is in full swing on Jeju Island.

Kim Jong Hyeon debuted in 2012 as the leader of the group NU'EST. He participated as a trainee in Mnet's 'Produce 101' Season 2 in 2017, and resumed his activities with NU'EST. In November 2021, he started acting in earnest with the SBS drama 'Let Me Be Your Knight', and he is raising expectations by expanding his activities as an actor.

After ending his contract with Pledis last year, he completed his activities with NU'EST, and released his first solo album in the second half of the year.

At the end of last year, Kim Jong Hyeon expressed his aspirations as an actor, saying, "I keep auditioning and knocking on the door for various projects."
