On the morning of February 22 KST, the cast of tvN's new food/travel reality program 'Seojin's Korean Street Food' attended its online press conference!
All five cast members including the restaurant owner Lee Seo Jin, head chef Jung Yoo Mi, sous-chef Park Seo Joon, intern #1 Choi Woo Sik, and intern #2 BTS's V greeted the press and viewers, joined, of course, by producer Na Young Suk.
First, as all eyes were on possibly the most famous intern to ever work at a restaurant, BTS's V. On his experience with the crew of 'Seojin's, V said, "I was really excited to be on the show. Once I finally started filming, I experienced so many new things for the first time in my life, and the cast and crew helped to make this experience unforgettable for me."
He then added on, "I was expecting to wait on tables, but when I got there, they asked me to cook. Well, within BTS, I'm the worst at cooking, and so I thought, 'Why me?'. But as I began learning... I still wasn't able to gain a sense of 'the joy of cooking'. Cooking is just so hard. For me, it was really tough."
Next, the restaurant owner Lee Seo Jin shared his honest thoughts on his employees. He started out by commenting, "The best employee is Park Seo Joon, my right hand man. Choi Woo Sik is my left hand man."
Hearing this, Park Seo Joon remarked, "I will work harder until I can climb up to the head." However, Choi Woo Sik poked fun by stating, "Seo Jin hyung is left-handed though."
On his first time having V as an intern, Lee Seo Jin revealed, "Taehyung is not the type to go out of his way to satisfy others. But once he's given a task, he fulfills his duties without complaint. Rather than stepping out of line and making trouble, being diligent in the role that you are given is what an intern is supposed to do."
Meanwhile, 'Seojin's Korean Street Food' will premiere later this week on February 24 at 8:50 PM KST!
I love that he just ended his sentence by admitting that he still can't cook. Well, Taehyung still has many fine qualities and is beautiful inside and out! It'll probably be funnier this way, anyway... Looking forward to watching!
