With Naver's 'V Live' service being terminated on December 31, 2022, what new platform will take over as the new 'V Live'?
It looks like one candidate is Mnet's new live broadcast platform, 'Plus LIVE'.
Mnet's 'Plus LIVE' service officially launched earlier this week on December 28 and is available through the Mnet Plus app. Then, on December 30, 'Plus LIVE' revealed the first lineup of artists who will be utilizing the new service to communicate with their fans, including Kep1er, TO1, Jo Yu Ri, and Ha Hyun Sang.
So far, it's currently unknown whether artists who are not affiliated with CJ-labels, like Wake One Entertainment or Stone Music Entertainment, will be able to join the 'Plus LIVE' service.

Are they really deleting the entire V-Live video database... There's a lot of fun and memorable stuff there... isn't it bad business to just end it and re-brand...

These kpop companies have shown that they can't be trusted and they can cut off these services at any time. It's best to utilize regular social media like youtube. At least that way you can monetize your videos and support idols with chat donations/memberships. It can also be used to attract a broader audience that may not be into kpop.
