Singer Kang Daniel has tested positive for COVID-19 and will be absent from upcoming promotion events for 'Street Man Fighter'.

On August 18, Konnect Entertainment revealed that Kang Daniel tested positive after conducting a PCR test before leaving for Japan to perform at 'Summer Sonic 2022'. They stated, "Kang Daniel has completed his 3rd vaccination, and he currently has no symptoms. All his PCR tests were negative on August 12, 13, and 14, while he was completing his concert."

KONNECT Entertainment continued, "After halting all his scheduled activities according to health guidelines, we will focus on quarantining and receiving treatment. His attendance to 'Summer Sonic 2022' will not be possible. We will inform you of his future schedules soon. [Until then], we will comply with quarantine guidelines and do our best for the health and safety of our artists and staff members."

In addition, Kang Daniel will be unable to attend Mnet's 'Street Man Fighter' press conference on August 23 KST.
