SM Entertainment's Lee Soo Man met with the Saudi Minister of culture to discuss cultural cooperation between Korea and Saudi Arabia.
On June 8th, SM Entertainment's founder and producer Lee Soo Man met with Saudi Arabia's Minister of culture Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan. According to SM Entertainment on June 11th, the two discussed organizing 'SMTOWN Live' in Saudi Arabia, jointly creating media content with a Saudi production company, and more.
On this day, Lee Soo Man said "We expect to find a collaborative way to produce S-Pop and global Saudi stars utilizing SM Entertainment's culture technology. We'd like to help construct a musical ecosystem for the younger generation in Saudi Arabia."
OG K-pop superstar BoA also attended the event, meeting the Saudi Minister of culture.
Previously in March, Lee Soo Man was invited to meet with Saudi government officials and discuss promoting the entertainment business and building a musical ecosystem in Saudi Arabia.
This has to be some sick joke or money scheme. There has to be a hidden motive because everything kpop is against their culture.
