JTBC drama 'Thirty, Nine' starring Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, & Kim Ji Hyun starts off with 4.4% in viewership ratings

JTBC's brand new Wed-Thurs drama series 'Thirty, Nine', starring Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Ji Hyun, kicked off with a viewership rating of 4.4% during its premiere on February 16. 

The previous JTBC series which aired in the same time slot, Wed-Thurs drama 'Artificial City', came to an end last week with a viewership rating of 4.7%, indicating a slight decrease in ratings this week with the premiere of 'Thirty, Nine'.  

Meanwhile, 'Thirty, Nine' is a human romance drama following the lives of three friends who are on the brink of entering their forties. The project also marks Son Ye Jin's first small-screen role after 'Crash Landing On You'.

promising start to this drama - still not sold on the pacing and story of the drama, but Yejin and Mido's acting and charisma most likely will be able to paper over any cracks this drama may have. Ratings havent passed artificial city but viewership has (passed 1 million mark for 1st episode) - let's see if the momentum continues after the 2nd episode
