BTS members' self-made products are in high demand and with SUGA it was no different, his merch is already sold out, as expected.
The interesting fact is that the merch was scheduled to officially go on sale on January 13th at 11 am Korea time. However, fans all around the world refreshed the merch page at 10:59 Korea time and found that the items were already sold out for consumers globally.
They are also sold out in the USA shop and out of stock in BTS's official Japanese shop.
The guitar necklace pick and the black note & cover set were a huge success right after being revealed. At the time, 'I WANT IT' was trending in SUGA's topic with over 302,000 tweets.
Here are some of the reactions after SUGA's merch sold out on Weverse:
As a stationery fanatic, SUGA's merch is it for me. Seriously, HYBE should have a rough estimate of how big the fandom is so that they know how many items to produce. Based on what we read on twitter and the rest of the net, there are multiple ARMYs in one household globally, and also, they should already know that ARMYs would buy one for using and one for collecting (never used). Their price points are affordable enough, so they should really mass produce. That way, no one's broken hearted when they have to wait to restock. (Rant)
