BTS' Jimin shook the world when his first solo Lie under BTS's 2016 album Wings was released. The mysterious and hauntingly exquisite masterpiece broke several records at the time on major music platforms, received critical acclaim, and still continues to shine as the most successful solo from the album.

On September 17, K-POP group CRAVITY held a special stage break aired on 1TheK. Among the songs covered were by Justin Bieber, Imagine Dragons, and Lie by BTS' Jimin. Fans were delighted to see the group deliver a superb cover of the song, which drew attention as the only K-POP song covered. We are sure Jimin must have been proud of them if he had watched it.

On September 2, Ham Wonjin, the lead vocalist and dancer of the group, mentioned Jimin as his great role model. He added that watching him on stage always amazes him making him always want to be just like him.

Back in August, it was reported that 'THE FIRST' survival/audition show finalist Ryuhei Kuroda mentioned Jimin as his inspiration for performing because of his impressive expressiveness and intonation, which he aimed to convey through his performances. On September 17, this point was further extrapolated in an interview with women's magazine JJ. When asked about what he thought made him best among other members, he said:

"The gracefulness of my fingertips? That's the only thing I can't compromise! I love BTS Jimin, and he has influenced me a lot in terms of the delicacy and the way I express my body. I think you can even objectively tell by the way I move (lol). I wanted to be like him when I joined the boy group, so I want to be second to none in the gracefulness of my movements."

Ryuhei Kuroda is among the growing list of young idols like ATEEZ Wooyoung, BDC KimSihoon, TXT's Beomgyu, Hueningkai & Yeonjun, SKZ's Hyunjin, ENHYPHEN's NI-KI & Jay, ENOi's J-Kid, Victon Sejun & Seungwoon, Kingdom's Arthur, NewKiddz's Jinkwon & Woochul to name a few as well as sports stars like renowned figure skater Yazuru Hanyu, who have drawn inspiration from Jimin.
