Comedian Park Na Rae has been embroiled in another controversy not long after her YouTube controversy this year. This time, she is suspected of falsely registering her resident information.
On August 15, Tenasia reported that Park Na Rae's address on the resident registration is Jagok-dong, Gangnam, Seoul, but is currently living in the UN Village in Hannam-dong, Yongsan, Seoul. In response, her agency JDB Entertainment explained on the 16th, "Park Nae Rae used to live in UN Village and at Jagok-dong and went back and forth between houses. She didn't know it would cause a problem. She had currently submitted a correction report. She was not trying to make a profit by changing her address."
Park Na Rae had changed her Instagram page to private as soon as the allegations for falsely registering her address surfaced. As of August 16, Park Na Rae's Instagram had been turned private with the comments and photos hidden.
Amidst the controversy, netizens have discovered that Park Na Rae left the link to her website to purchase her hang-over relieving products. This was shared in various online communities such as FM Korea, where netizens gathered to criticize the comedian.
Netizens commented, "As soon as the article about her false address registration was published, she changed her Instagram to private. But she left the link to her store up, lol. I guess she still has to earn money during the new controversy," "Of course, she has to make money," and "She signed the contract so she still has to sell her products. lol."
This is more ridiculous bullshit. She resides in multiple places just like celebrities from all over the world. They want to have some privacy. Do they really have to tell the public every single place that they own or reside at.. if she has one house on one side of the country and another house on the other side of the country for when she travels or works or wants to take a break it's no one's freaking business but her own.
