Former Big Bang member Seungri (Lee Seung-hyun) has been spending his days in South Korea.
According to reports, Seungri has been frequently spotted at various restaurants and pubs in the Gangnam area of Seoul. Often seen in casual attire and accompanied by acquaintances, Seungri has been enjoying drinks in the corner of these establishments.
An anonymous source shared, "Seungri visits the pub at least twice a week. He drinks quietly and leaves without drawing much attention."
Seungri, who was expelled from the entertainment industry following the Burning Sun scandal, was initially reported to be living in Southeast Asia, particularly Cambodia. In one instance, he was spotted at a nightclub in Cambodia shouting, "I will bring G-Dragon!" which attracted attention.
Additionally, Seungri has been seen having meetings with overseas investors in Southeast Asia. In these meetings, he was dressed in a suit, wearing glasses, and had noticeably gained weight. Among the international investors Seungri met with was Jacob Arabo, the founder of the Swiss luxury watch brand J.
Seungri was implicated as a key figure in the Burning Sun scandal in 2019, leading to his departure from BIGBANG. At the time, he was serving in the military and was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison by a military court in the second trial. He was subsequently assigned to a civilian prison, Yeoju Correctional Facility, and was released in February of last year.
The charges against him included habitual gambling, prostitution, mediation of prostitution, violations of laws related to sexual violence crimes, violations of foreign exchange laws, food sanitation laws, embezzlement, violations of laws on the aggravated punishment of specific economic crimes (embezzlement), and instigating special assault.
