These Are All The K-Pop Groups That Debuted in 2020

As 2021 is here, let's take a look back at 2020 and see all the K-pop groups that made their debut this past year, in alphabetical order! This list does not include sub-unit debuts.

Aespa is a four-member girl group under SM Entertainment that debuted in November 2020 with the single "Black Mamba." The group is composed of Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning.

B.O.Y is a duo composed of Kim Kookheon and Song Yuvin, who are both former members of MYTEEN and had previously competed on "Produce X 101."

BAE173 is an eight-member boy group under MBK Entertainment. The group debuted on November 19, 2020, and had two former X1 members, Hangyul and Dohyon.

BLACKSWAN debuted in June 2020 as a rebranding of Rania. The group is under DR Music and is composed of members Youngheun, Fatou, Judy, and Leia. Originally five members, Hyeme left the group in November 2020.

cignature is a girl group formed by C9 Entertainment and managed by J9 Entertainment. They are the sister group to CIX. They made their debut on February 4, 2020.

CRAVITY is a boy group under Starship Entertainment and debuted on April 14, 2020. Prior to the group's debut, members Jungmo, Wonjin, Minhee, and Hyeongjun competed on "Produce X 101", with the two latter members debuting in the project group X1.

H&D is a duo under Pocketdol Studio that debuted on April 21, 2020. The group is composed of former X1 members Hangyul and Dohyo. They are also members of the group BAE173.

SECRET NUMBER is a five-member girl group under VINE Entertainment that debuted on May 19, 2020. The group made headlines for having the first Indonesian female K-pop idol and two former YG Entertainment trainees.

SSAK3 is a project co-ed trio that was formed through MBC's "Hangout With Yoo." The group debuted on July 25, 2020, and is composed of Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Hyori, and Rain.

STAYC is a six-member girl group under High Up Entertainment. They are the first girl group formed by producer duo Black Eyed Pilseung. They debuted on November 12, 2020.

WEi is a six-member boy group under OUI Entertainment. Notable group members include former X1 member Kim Yohan, soloist and former JYJ member Kim Donghan, former RAINZ member Jang Daehyeon, former "YG Treasure Box," and "Produce 101" contestant Kang Seokhwa, and former 1THE9 members Yoo Yong Ha and Kim Jun Seo. The group debuted on September 11, 2020.

Competition is getting harder, it seems like the whole Korean population will be an idol at one point.
