ARMYs are celebrating the 500th day since the release of 'Tonight' by BTS's Jin
It's been 500 serene nights with 'Tonight' by BTS's Jin.
BTS fans, ARMY, never miss to remember and celebrate special dates in their fandom. And today, ARMYs celebrate 500 days of the release of Jin's heartfelt song titled '이 밤,' which translates to 'Tonight' or 'This Night.'
Jin released this first-ever composed song by him as part of the 2019 BTS Festa on BTS's blog. He produced the song with the help of RM, his groupmate, as well as Slow Rabbit and Hiss Noise, Big Hit's producers. What's even more endearing is that Jin made the song in memory of his pets that have passed away, namely Jjangu, Eomuk, and Odeng. What a gentle heart he has.
“Hello, this is Jin.
It's a song I wrote while thinking about my pets. It's my first produced song. I hope you liked it. I'll work hard to produce again next time in order to let you hear a good song. Thank you, ARMY.”

Through the Bangtan Bomb video, Jin shared the recording process of this masterpiece. Jin blessed everyone's ears with his silver voice as he started singing Tonight softly and soothingly.
The lyrics of the song are also full of meaning. 'Tonight' talks about heartbreaking feelings,
When this night passes, I’m afraid I won’t be able to see you. When this night passes, I’m afraid that I’ll be left alone.
But the song also reminisces about good times with his pets,
When I close my eyes, I think I'll remember the times that we are together. When I close my eyes, I think I will only remember the happy memories.
In Break The Silence episode 6, Jin shared his feelings about this song. The song must hold a special place in Jin's heart. ARMYs were touched because Jin wanted to share a song that was meaningful to him with them.
"I want a lot of people to listen to it but at the same time, I dont want too many people to listen to it. I feel this way because the song is so sad. I want people who listen to my songs to be happy so there's a slight contradiction." +

"I only want people who felt the same way I did to listen to the song. These two emotions were in conflict. Still, most ARMYs have listened to it so i'm grateful and a bit regretful."
