Most of you know, whether you are an iGot7/ahgase or not, that Youngjae has been receiving messages and even threats from sasaengs.

Now, if you don't know what a sasaeng is allow me to explain. A sasaeng is an over-obsessive fan who stalks a certain artist (sometimes artists), leaks private information of that artist (phone numbers, addresses, etc.), and/or even physically harasses the artist.

Recently, Youngjae made an Instagram post regarding the sasaeng fans. The image he posted translates to:
“Stop coming to the front of the hair and makeup shop. And are you
threatening me? When you secretly took photos of me speaking with other
people at a café and then came up to me and asked ‘Can I post this?’?”

The caption that the artist posted along with the image continued his statement by saying:
“If you want to see a person’s life get ruined, post your photos and feel it for yourself.”

Fans are extremely upset with this situation; but not just at sasaengs.

Fans of the group are also angry with JYP Entertainment for not taking any legal action. On Twitter, fans are spreading and trending the hashtag #ProtectYoungjae.

In most of these situations, the messages and threats stop fairly quickly. However, this isn't the case for Youngjae. The artist has been dealing with this for 2 years.

In my opinion, that is way too long for so-called "fans" to be stalking him. I realize this happens all the time for popular artists. But no one should have to go through this stress and pain for 2 years.

As an ahgase myself, I think it's time that we get justice for not just Youngjae, but GOT7 as a whole group. Trend the hashtags, tweet and post as much as you can. Let the boys know how much we love them, especially Youngjae.
