Bambam was in Thailand for a CPFrankster event where he performed for the first time as a soloist his song Do You.
He also got the opportunity to open up about GOT7´s goals and popularity, saying ´´Sometimes I feel discouraged because the reactions (of the public) are not good (In South Korea), as if we were nobody, but in Thailand there are many fans who have been supporting us since day 1. When I return here I feel that I exist, that I am important´´.

I can never understand why good groups can get so underappreciated. And they work so hard too! sigh.

Kpop is a big thing in Thailand, particularly for groups with Thai idols. BamBam is literally treated like a king in Thailand, you can't go anywhere without seeing his face on a billboard or GOT7 in an advert for something. When I was in SK I only saw maybe 3-5 billboards involving GOT7.
Whilst GOT7 is relatively successful domestically (they still get wins every comeback and sell out concerts), it can't be compared to how they are treated globally, they are South-East Asia for sure, in the West too, probably even in Japan also. From the begining GOT7 was marketed as an international group, and unfortunately k-netz don't like to 'compete' with i-netz, so they dont bother becoming fans.
