Pledis Entertainment announced that Seventeen will finally hold a dome tour with a total of 5 concerts in 3 cities, including Tokyo Dome, Fukuoka Yahuoku! Dome, and Osaka Kyocera Dome in May 2020 through their Seventeen Japan official site.

Seventeen made their debut in Japan in May 2018 which they also gathered a total of 120,000 spectators through SEVENTEEN CONCERT 'IDEAL CUT' in the same year, then a total of 200,000 attendees through  SEVENTEEN 2019 JAPAN TOUR 'HARU' and including their various fan meetings/activities. Seventeen successfully captured more Japanese fans with their unique versatility and colorful charms along with their local status popularity.

Finally, Seventeen will soon reach their special achievement by hosting a '3 Dome Tours' in May 2020. Holding Dome Tours have been the goal and dream of Seventeen since their debut in Japan and they achieve it for just 2 years.

In addition, Seventeen had proven their success with explosive popularity in Japan local fans by winning No.1 on album category of Oricon's Annual Indie 2018 with their Japanese debut album “WE MAKE YOU” which also clinched RIAJ gold certification, and then they won the 2 awards at the 33rd Japan Gold Disk Awards 2019 with 'New Artist of the Year Award' and 'Best 3 New Artists in the Asia Category'.

Seventeen just recently finished their SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR 'ODE TO YOU' in Japan with 9 concerts in 4 cities which were all seats sold out that leads to the high anticipation from the fans for Seventeen's music and amazing performances on their 2020 dome tour.
