The "ICY" MV released on July 29 has the view number continuously increasing when surpassing the 30-million-view milestone at 8:53 pm (KST) July 30, just after 44 hours 53 minutes since its release.

Furthermore, "ICY" is gaining in popularity with the title "summer song of 2019" as it's taken the top positions of digital music charts like No.1 on real-time charts of Naver Music, Bugs, etc.

This song is even "causing fever" abroad and leading iTunes Albums Chart in 12 territories across the world. In addition, on July 28 (US time), Billboard (the US) directed attention to Itzy's comeback when publishing the article titled, "ITZY Heats Things Up in Fiery New ‘Icy’ Video: Watch". Billboard praised, "Itzy drops new song 'ICY' following 'DALLA DALLA', which saw major success. The song delivers a positive attitude to listeners."

Itzy's new song "ICY" was written and composed by producer-JYP president Park Jin Young for the first time for Itzy. Besides Park Jin Young's lead in the main composing role, "ICY" also had the lyrics written by talented producer-rapper Penomeco.
