Another idol surprised with their vocal abilities on this week's 'Mask King'!
On the March 31 episode of the hit MBC singing competition, eight challengers competed for the chance to go up against reigning champion 'Galileo'.
The second competition of the episode was between 'Chuno' and 'Imgeokjjeong,' who performed a duet of Paul Kim's 2018 single "Me After You."
During the performance, 'Imgeokjjeong' impressed with sweet vocals, which provided a humorous contrast to their aggressive-looking face mask. The panelists complimented 'Chuno's soft vocal delivery and natural performance abilities as well.
However, the panelists felt that 'Imgeokjjeong' did not seem to have a lot of experience on stage and guessed by their pronunciation that it was someone who must have done overseas studying.
After the audience vote, it was revealed that 'Chuno' was the winner of the round, resulting in 'Imgeokjjeong' having to unmask. The contestant turned out to be none other than Stray Kids member Han, who had actually spent some time studying in Malaysia.
During the reveal interview he expressed that it was the first time since his debut that he performed alone. He also reflected on Stray Kids' first year of activity, adding: "At JYP Entertainment, there's senior artists like J.Y. Park, 2PM, and GOT7, so I don't really feel like a celebrity yet."
He also added that, before his debut, he knew that his parents would not encourage his dream to become a singer, so he had told them that he would give up if he was unable to find an agency within the next year. Fortunately, he was signed to JYP Entertainment after only three months.
"This is a show my parents really like, so they are happy that I was able to come onto it," he commented. "It would be nice if I was able to show my parents how awesome their son is through this experience."

I always love hearing Jisung singing.
