On February 21, Kim Bo Ra shared a post on her official fan cafe about the dating news with 'SKY Castle' co-star Jo Byung Gyu. 

She stated, "I am so sorry for surprising you in the morning. I was able to check the dating news with my two eyes after receiving a call from my agency director. The only thought I had in mind after seeing it was, 'What am I going to say to my fans?' I just feel apologetic for giving a great shock to the fans who have been by my side for long 15 years.."

Kim Bo Ra explained, "We became close through the drama, and we naturally developed feelings for each other while staying in contact, then we started dating in early February. Um, I'm not sure what to say. Thank you for perceiving it kindly and leaving comments of support, despite the many reports that came out today. I'm very sorry for surprising you."

Earlier, The Fact unveiled photos of Kim Bo Ra and Jo Byung Gyu on a date. The two stars eventually confirmed they're dating.
