B1A4's Jinyoung has not let his lack of dating keep him from writing a good love song.

During a January 7 interview, the idol admitted that it has been a lot time since he was in a relationship.

"Since my debut until now, I have never been able to say, 'I have free time [to date].' I barely have any," he explained.

This confession naturally caused confusion with the interviewer, who then asked him for the secret of how he is able to write such sweet love songs without being in relationships.

"My romantic sensibility has a large imagination," he began, adding that he enjoys listening to the love stories of others in his life. "It is one of my personal missions to be able to convey a love story that people can relate to."

As for whether or not he is preparing to settle down any time soon, the idol remarked that he has not thought about it as he still has a lot of ambition regarding his professional life.

"The way things are going, I'm going to become completely cold and emotionless. I'm a little bit worried," he joked with a smile.

Meanwhile, Jinyoung is currently preparing for the release of his latest movie 'Inside Me.' The romantic-comedy, in which he plays a high schooler who switches bodies with a middle-aged man, is set for release on January 9.
