The film adaptation of 'The Battle of Jangsari 9.15' will retell the story of this historical, feint operation by the UN forces during the Korean War leading up to the Battle of Incheon. In the actual battle of Jangsari in 1950, 772 student soldiers landed in the province of Jangsari and succeeded in blocking the enemy's supply route. SHINee's Minho will be playing one of these student soldiers.
Directored by Kwak Kyung Taek of 'Friend' and Kim Tae Hoon, 'The Battle of Jangsari 9.15' also stars Kim Myung Min as commander Lee Myung Heum, Hollywood actress Megan Fox as Marguerite Higgins, and more. Filming begins in October!
Great, another Korean historical fantasy movie that creates yet more historical lies and despicably steals the credit from those who really deserved it.
