Winter is coming! and yet you have no plans for winter this year?
For those who wish to make the rest of 2018 fun, exciting, and educational, we are introducing Korea University's International Winter Campus (KU IWC)!
Korea University, which was founded in 1905, is one of the most prestigious universities in South Korea with over 100 years of history and educational excellence. KU IWC is a program that has been providing students from 200+ countries an opportunity to learn about Korean culture and make friends from all around the world, and even earn academic credits at the same time!
KU IWC consists of two sessions to satisfy your craving for knowledge as well as cultural experiences! The first session focuses on earning academic credits, intensive studying, and a comprehensive crash-course on the Korean language. Courses offered at KU IWC include Korean Cinema and Visual Culture, Mass Media and Popular Culture, Computer Science, Strategic Management and much more! In between classes, there will be field trips which are great opportunities to explore the greater Seoul area. Field trips include activities such as traditional Korean cooking class, Calligraphy to learn Korean traditional letters and ski/snowboarding trip!
The second session is the cultural track which consists of everything K-pop fans would LOVE to do! Students who opt for this session will see their favorite K-pop star's performance, learn K-pop moves from professionals, and visit broadcasting stations where much of the recording is done! An early bird discount of KRW 100,000 (~ $90) will be applied for those who complete the online application by October 31 - don't miss it out!
