Lee Hwi Jae opened up about his feelings on his family's 6-year run on 'Superman is Back'.
On May 30, Lee Hwi Jae featured as guest on MBC FM4U's 'Kim Shin Young's Noon Song of Hope' radio show, where DJ Kim Shin Young asked him how he and his twin boys Suh Uhn and Suh Joon were doing. He said, "It's a program that requires a lot more emotional labor than you would think. For the first 2 years, the program just showed the kids crying, while I talked by myself. I had to relieve my own emotions when they built up. I don't feel empty after leaving the show."
Lee Hwi Jae continued, "We don't have an auntie who could take care of the kids. My mother-in-law, wife, and I are the only ones who can care for the kids. I'm still a superman every day. Even today, I sent my kids off on a picnic."
