Actor Han Joo Wan (35) has been found guilty of illegal marijuana usage.
It's been revealed that Seoul's Western District Court found Han Joo Wan guilty of his suspected marijuana usage last month. He has been sentenced to 8 months of potential prison time, if he commits a second offense in a period of 2 years. In addition, he has been fined a total of 3,200,000 KRW (~ $3000 USD) as well as 40 hours of required rehabilitation.
According to reports, Han Joo Wan obtained and used approximately 10g of marijuana in January 2017, then attempted to acquire more from his buyer in the same month. His label has confirmed Han Joo Wan's marijuana usage sentence to be true, and added on that he will be taking time to reflect on his actions.
Han Joo Wan previously starred in productions such as 'Wang's Family', 'Joseon Gunman', 'School 2017', 'Melo-Holic', and more.
