Daesung is set to enlist this March 13, just one day after his group mate Taeyang. Daesung's new recruit training center will be at the ROK army's 27th division in Gangwon-do's Hwacheon county, nicknamed the 'We Will Win' unit. 

The unit was previously featured on MBC's 'Real Men' as a search/hunting unit. It is also known as the unit in which actor Yoo Seung Ho served as a training instructor. The unit's nickname means that they "Will win with certainty in any fight", and those who have served in the unit say that the soldiers greet their superiors with the phrase, "We Will Win!". In response, the troop leaders bark back, "Sure, you go win all~ you want." 

Daesung's discharge date is predicted for December 12, 2019.
