2AM's Changmin strictly denied any involvement in the ongoing #MeToo movement.

On March 7, another netizen came forward to speak up in light of the #MeToo movement, revealing she was sexually assaulted by a trainee in a ballad group. Various media reports coined idol 'A' as "the lead vocalist of a ballad group", which caused netizens to speculate 2AM's Changmin.
Changmin's label The B Sky Entertainment announced via their official Instagram in response:
"Hello. This is The B Sky.
We are unable to fully grasp the extent of the pain and the damages suffered by the victims of the ongoing social movement, which is receiving much empathy from the public, but we sincerely wish for those involved to recover their smiles again as soon as possible, and also wish that no more victims suffer.
However, we also greatly wish that no victims arise due to a misinformed mob mentality in this matter.
The B Sky will act with forceful legal action against false, malicious rumors in order to protect our artist. We apologize to fans for causing concerns."
