Netizens worked to create a map illustrating the popularity of the top 20 idol boy groups for 2017.

The larger chunks of land are ruled over by more well-known groups such as Big Bang, BTS, EXO, WINNER, Wanna One, along with Highlight and Sechskies.
Other groups including GOT7, NCT 127, VIXX, Seventeen, Block B, BTOB, DAY6, Super Junior, Shinhwa, iKON, NU'EST W and B1A4, were given smaller regions and bunched together representing their rise in popularity, and steady rank.
Some netizens who saw the map believe that BTS, Seventeen, and GOT7's land should be bigger while other groups a bit smaller.
