The '2017 Grimae Awards' celebrated another year of tv productions on December 8 at the KBS Hall in Seoul.
On this day, actor Ji Sung was awarded the 'Best Actor' for his performance in 'Defendant'. Actress Seo Hyun Jin was recognized as the 'Best Actress' for her role in 'Love's Temperature', while the 'Rookie Actor Award' went to SHINee's Key for his performance in 'Protector'.
Ji Sung said after receiving the award, "I thought of my wife and daughter a lot while acting. 'Defendant' is not a production that I should be happy about for receiving an award. It deals with a daughter's kidnapping and unfortunate events happening to a wife. I felt great responsibility [during the role]."
