The idol star's 'D-LITE2' ranked second place on Japan's 'Oricon Daily Album' chart.
Daesung's new album was released on December 20, selling a total of 36,742 copies on the first day.
Not only that, Daesung's 'D-Day' album also debuted at #1 on the 'Oricon Daily Album' chart back in April.
The idol star wrapped up the Japanese leg of his 'DNA Show Vol.1' tour in October and is scheduled to perform in Honolulu, Hawaii next month.
Meanwhile, Daesung will be greeting VIPs on stage at Big Bang's 'Last Dance' concert in Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome on December 30 and 31.
