The late Choi Jin Sil's mother has been found innocent of all accusations of abuse that her granddaughter brought against her.
After investigating the grandmother herself, Choi Joon Hee's older brother Choi Hwan Hee, as well as witnesses, the Seoul Seocho Police and the child protection agency found that Jung Ok Soon was innocent and that she will not be charged.

Choi Joon Hee had accused her grandmother of abuse in August, and police investigations had taken place after her accusations. She currently stays with the nanny that helped take care of her when she was a child, and is not with her grandmother.
