To start the show, Kim Tae Woo prepared a medley of songs to perform and as soon as he finished, he and his long mentor J.Y. Park greeted each other with a hug. J.Y. Park asked Kim Tae Woo how he is feeling and he replied, "It's really interesting because this program is something hyung (J.Y. Park) has been bragging about for two months now. I wanted to be the first guest on the show but you chose Lee Hyori noona so that was disappointing for me."
Kim Tae Woo continued, "I was like 18 years old when I first auditioned. Strangely, I get nervous every time I'm on the stage in front of you. I wondered if you were actually enjoying my stage or was planning to say something to me afterward" that caused the audience to laugh.
During the show, J.Y. Park asked Kim Tae Woo what he thinks is the biggest difference between an idol and an artist. Kim Tae Woo responded, "Much like a student, I think it was acceptable for an idol to just work hard at whatever they were told to do. However, compared to that, it's completely different now because I can't lean on anyone else or make excuses. Now I'm responsible for everything."
J.Y. Park also gave his opinion, "I really think it's a matter of one-word difference: popularity and recognition. When you're an idol, it's important to have that popularity but to truly become an artist, you need to gain that recognition through your skills. However, to shift from this spectrum of popularity to recognition is something very hard to do."
