One fan discovered some unfriendly creatures inside a cookie he/she received from SM Entertainment's 'SUM Cafe'.
The fan's SNS post and photo after finding maggots inside her cookie has been spreading on various online communities. He/she wrote, "Sh*t SM seriously die Sh*t, there was a bug in the cookie and I ate almost all of it without knowing Sh*t, ahh."
In the photo, inside the clear wrapper of a 'SUM Cafe' cookie, you can see remains of a yellow cookie, and two almost equally yellow maggots. According to online communities, the fan received the cookie for free after purchasing an album at the 'SUM Market'.
Netizens commented, "Ughh", "There's two?", "Did they make it in a factory...", "Ah I hate those so much... we had them in our house once...", "Disgusting", "Heol, goodness, SM why...", and more.
The issue may be more alarming for Korean fans, with the country recently experiencing a severe bird flu outbreak found in grocery-store bought chicken eggs.
