In an online community, a woman, who revealed to have been married for 4 months, explained that she was recently informed about the death of her ex-boyfriend. The post has received hundreds of thousands of views.

She and the ex-boyfriend 5 years her senior became lovers in college after meeting each other in a club organization. They've dated for a total of 6 years but ultimately faced a breakup. 

6 months after the breakup, the woman still had a troubling time dealing with the heartbreak. However, she was able to overcome the hardship after being introduced to her now-husband by a friend. The woman explained that the two were just close friends at first but eventually developed into lovers and naturally came to think about marriage. Now, they are a married couple of 4 months. 

Unfortunately, the woman and her husband have been constantly arguing lately. The reason is the death of her ex-boyfriend.

The woman revealed a rush of sadness swept over her when she found out that her ex-boyfriend of 6 years has passed away. 

She expressed her wish to attend his funeral but the husband responded, "It's unfortunate but I don't think it's right for you to go to his funeral."

However, the woman wrote, "I spent 6 years with him. Can't I just be there for his last moment? I really want to go. I even thought about going without letting my husband know but he video calls me constantly so I couldn't. He says I'm selfish but I don't understand."

Netizens gave varying reactions to the woman's story. Some agreed with the husband and stated it's not right for her to attend the funeral. Meanwhile, some commented, "Let her have her last farewell."
