'Anarchist from Colony' has surpassed 'Real' on the film's premiere night, snatching the top spot at the box office!
According to KOFIC, 'Anarchist from Colony' raked in a massive amount of viewers with over two million people attending within the first day of the film's release, beating out 'Real' which premiered on the same night and brought in a little bit over a million viewers.
'Anarchist from Colony' is based on a true story set during Joseon's colonial era circa 1923. The film follows the life of anarchist Park Yeol (played by Lee Jae Hoon) and his fellow comrade Fumiko Kaneko (Choi Hee Seo Boon), trying to survive in the wake of the Kanto Conflict.
