Script writer Yoon Hyo Je sat down for an interview for upcoming new SBS historical drama, 'My Sassy Girl'!
Premiering after currently airing drama 'Whisper', the historical drama version of 'My Sassy Girl' stars Joo Won, Oh Yeon Seo, CNBLUE's Jungshin, Kim Yoon Hye, and more. Yoon Hyo Je said, "I wanted to try making a historical drama version because I felt that the devices used in the original would feel new and innovating inside a historical setting. There are situations and set ups from the original that we incorporated into the historical drama, but it will still be a completely different drama all on its own."
About the drama's background, the writer commented, "Please regard the drama as a fictional historical drama, though we did bring over basic motifs from history." While the drama takes place in Joseon, there will be very few real characters from history.
'My Sassy Girl' the drama begins May 29 at 10 PM KST!
