Netizens believe Henry is "rotting" his talents under SM Entertainment.

Henry is often called the 'Musical Genius'. He is an incredible violinist and pianist who started playing the instruments at the young age of 5 and 6, respectively. He studied Music Performance at the University of Toronto until he flew over to South Korea to start training for his debut. He also reportedly received a full scholarship to the prestigious institute; Berklee College of Music. 

Not just musically, but Henry is also extremely talented in other areas. He is proficient in multiple languages; he's excellent in tennis. It's reported that he has ranked #23 in the entire nation of Canada in the past. If you have been keeping up with him on variety shows, you know that he also boasts a great sense of humor and fun personality. 

With all of these wonderful qualities in mind, netizens are upset at his label SM for their poor management. It's claimed that Henry has so much potential in music but his agency continues to promote him more on variety shows. 

On an online community, netizens portrayed their frustrations, and commented, "He's too good for SM", "This is so true. SM why are you doing this to him...", "So unfortunate..", "Seriously, such genius shouldn't be trapped under SM", "SM can't handle him. He's too good for them", "I want to see Henry doing music and not just on variety shows. He's so talented. Please let him do music TT."

Several months ago in December, Henry also seemed to have expressed his own frustration toward SM via Instagram, writing, " Getting tired. I can't do it alone anymore. Been a mistake since 9 years ago."
