Last June, the woman spread the rumors about the star saying that he had a secret child with his makeup artist.  Adding that Lee Seung Gi looks after the child from time to time.  The woman went as far as posting pictures of a woman not related to the actor, causing frenzy within the online community.

As the rumors spread widely, Lee Seung Gi's agency took action.  According to a news outlet on January 30, the 46-year old woman confessed for what she had done and was charged with a $867 fine.

Netizens commented, "I found out about the rumor through this article, I wasn't even aware," "Is that fine even enough?", "Such a rumor existed?" 

Lee Seung Gi is slated to be discharged from the military on October 31.
