Singer Heize's track "Round and Round" for the 'Goblin' OST has received a ton of negative feedback. Singer Han Soo Ji sings the beginning part of the song and because she isn't a well-known artist, it was marketed as just a Heize single with no mention of Han Soo Ji at all. Some fans also wanted Han Soo Ji to sing the whole song instead of Heize thinking that Han Soo Ji fits the song better without Heize.
Heize has spoken up about the issue. On January 25, the singer expressed her thoughts on SNS, "I am well aware that there has been a lot of talk going on concerning 'Goblin' OST. I wanted to give formal feedback after things were straightened out. However, I feel I must share my side of the story."
She continued, "As you all know I have participated in the making of 'Round and Round,' which was extended to 3minutes and 30 seconds from the original 50 seconds by Han Soo Ji." The singer firmly mentioned, "I never took it." Heize said that she was requested to take part in the OST, in order to complete the full version of the original song. "It appears when the official full version was released, it contained not only my voice but was mixed in with the one used in the drama...Thus, I became the main artist and the other artist's vocals was used as the pitch."
The singer then said she was waiting to hear more feedback from officials and apologized to fans about the confusion.
