iKON's logo, since debut, simply consists of lines that spell their group name. As for YG's new girl group Black Pink, their new logo is similar to a yin and yang sign, circular with a curvy line in the middle. These logos might just seem simple and minimalistic on their own; however, there may be a meaningful message behind them.

According to some speculation, iKON and Black Pink's logos may have actually been derived from the Korean flag! Reportedly, the logos portray YG CEO Yang Hyun Suk's desire to create two of Korea's representative groups.
