Originally, the show's second half cast consisted of the chief, Jang Hee Jin, Jang Hyun Sung, Lee Tae Gon, MONSTA X's Shownu, Super Junior's Leeteuk, and Kangin. However, due to his second DUI incident, Kangin announced an official hiatus back on May 24 and has been completely edited out of the show.�

In the broadcast, the rest of the cast of 'Law of the Jungle in Papua New Guinea' can be seen setting out to their jungle survival destination - the volcano at Mount Tavurvur - and even though Kangin was with them for the recording, the only traces of him left on screen are brief shots of an arm or his voice in the distance.�
