A netizen who spread rumors and falsely claimed to be Jang Gi Ha's ex-girlfriend has been fined.
The netizen claiming to be the singer's ex-girlfriend spread rumors on the web saying that Jang Gi Ha has been stalking and invading her privacy since December.

The fake ex-girlfriend said, "I've met Jang Gi Ha at a concert in August 2011 and stopped talking to him in April. He then hacked into my computer and also made an exact replica of my phone to observe my private life and threatened me."
However, Jang Gi Ha's agency strongly denied such claims, stating, "Not one thing is true from beginning to end." The agency also added that the rumors about Jang Gi Ha leaving his radio show is in no way related to the situation.
As the rumors kept inflating, Jang Gi Ha's agency took legal actions against the netizen who started such crazy rumors. The 'ex-girlfriend' was eventually fined $2446.7 USD (3 million Won) for defaming Jang Gi Ha's character.
